Day 24 The Forbidden City is an amazing place, consisting of three rings with the Emperor’s palace in the middle. Huge gates and courtyards, many rooms for the concubines and Eunuchs and storage chambers. It is beautifully restored and well maintained, I was there early in the morning and it was still filled with mostly Chinese people in large groups. Stunning gardens and buildings.
