Beijing

Day 26- Last day in China. The last day started slowly with breakfast and packing. My host Gloria then took me to a fabulous local flea-market where we mooched in antique shops and around the many vendors of jade and beads. I was very taken by the stunning Han Dynasty ceramic horses in one shop. Interesting to still see memorabilia from the Mao period on sale. Gloria then took me to her University where she is taking an MA in Fine Art. Captured the last rays of the sunset over Beijing before we had our last meal together and then took a taxi to the Airport. Very heavy suitcase now!
